Hello there!

I’m Iris, a food content creator who shares (mostly) Chinese recipes, made easier and healthier! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

A bit about me... I love breakfast food, browsing Ikea, and leg day. But most of all, I love sharing the food I make with others. Back in college, I’d cook the dishes I grew up with for my friends in our tiny shared kitchen. One friend encouraged me to start a TIkTok account. And thus, ricesprinkles was born.

My goal is to make everyday cooking as easy, convenient, and approachable as possible... without sacrificing taste or nutrition. You’ll find that a lot of my recipes are higher protein/fiber and lighter versions of classic dishes, so you can enjoy the food you love and still feel good afterwards!

And because not everyone has the time or energy to make hong shao rou from scratch on a casual Tuesday night, my recipes sometimes cut corners or use ingredients that some might consider “inauthentic.” (Personally, I don’t believe in authenticity when it comes to food!)
