Ingredients
Instructions
-
Pat both sides of the salmon dry with a paper towel and season the surface with salt and pepper.
-
Air fry the salmon at 400°F for 7-8 minutes, or until nearly cooked through. The salmon won't be fully cooked through at this point. It'll continue cooking in the sauce later!
-
While the salmon cooks, add the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, Shaoxing wine (or mirin), hot honey, garlic, and corn starch to a pan. Stir until the corn starch is dissolved. Stir in the water. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently.
-
Transfer the salmon to the pan with the sauce, skin side up. Cook, turning to coat all sides, until the sauce has thickened and the salmon is glazed. Spoon the extra sauce over the top of the salmon.
-
Serve the salmon over rice and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
